Swift's Speak Now album released two years ago consolidated her previous popularity and launched the singer into superstardom. In the three albums that followed (Reputation 2017, 1989 2014, and Red 2012) Red 2012, 1989 2014 as well as Reputation 2017. her success only grew. That was an obvious indication that she was in an entirely new world of pop that she could be part of. Although she slowed down her strategy with 2020's stripped down sister album folklore, and Evermore she was still atop the pop world a position that she maintained through re-recordings from her back catalog along with Midnights her chart-topping synth-heavy 2022 album.
