Lucy-Liu

Lucy Liu is a voice actress and director. Also, she is an actress. Beautiful, intelligent and talented actress, she's a great example to Asian actors who are aspiring to make it big in Hollywood. The early successes of her were boosted by her appearance on some of the most popular TV shows. She played the evil Ling Woo. Her sudden fame translated into movie roles, such as Shanghai Noon or Charlie's Angels. She then delivered a superlative performance in the role of Japanese criminal O-Ren Ishii as QT's Kill Bill Volume 1. During this time, she played the lead in a few flops in the field including Rise: Blood Hunter. For animated films such as Kung Fu Panda, Tinker Bell and many others, she voiced prominent characters. Mia Mason, in Cashmere Mafia and other small-screen roles failed to bring her much success. Southland, a critically acclaimed series of police dramas that featured Liu in recurring role, allowed her to reaffirm her as an actress. Liu picks her roles wisely so that she doesn't become a typecast character in such a competitive field. Although she is adamant about her heritage but it doesn't mean she has to be when it comes to her career in the field of art.
