Andrea Elson

Andrea Hope Elson (born in 1961) is a former American actor. Elson started her career in television as a child model and actress. Her best-known role is Alice Tyler, portrayed by Elson in CBS the science-fiction series. Andrea was chosen to play Lynn Tanner in the popular ALF series ALF from 1986. She worked many years for several popular TV shows, including Movies of the Day before making the decision to leave the industry and concentrate on her kids. Andrea Elson's job as Lynn Tanner, Willie and Kate Tanner's teenage daughter was a difficult one for her. People magazine published an account of her career in the year 2000. Elson commented that being a teenager in the spotlight was not simple. When she was in New York City in 1969 Elson grew up within the world of travel as her father was a travelling salesman. At 10-years-old, Andrea had already been to New York Chicago San Diego Los Angeles. Andrea was living in San Diego when she met an agent. The part she auditioned won. Fusco justified the claim in saying "ALF is 285 years old, so he is an adult who is able to drink alcohol." Since ALF's popularity increased with youngsters, NBC informed Fusco that the actor could not consume alcohol because the children were watching. The show was a poor instance. Fusco was of the opinion that ALF had the maturity to drive drunk, wasn't right. In 1995, he was diagnosed with lymphoma. He was successfully treated and remained in remission up to the end of 2019. The 26th of June, 2019 at the age of 75, he passed away from cancer at the Lillian Booth Actors Home located in Englewood New Jersey.
