Kari Sam Wuhrer was born on April 28, 1968, is an American actor and singer. Wuhrer began her career as she was in her teens. She is best known for her character Maggie Beckett on the TV show Sliders and also her role as the character of Sheriff Samantha Parker, in the horror comedy movie Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer was born at Brookfield Connecticut as the daughter of Karin Noble who was employed as a cashier, as well as German American Andrew Wuhrer. There are three of her siblings.
