Charissa Thompson
Thompson left FOX Sports in 2010 and did double duty as the host for Versus as well as Yahoo Sports. She was in charge of Versus' NHL studio coverage and recorded web videos on the popular Yahoo platform. She was also responsible for the site's presence at high-profile occasions, such as those of the 2010 Winter Olympics, FIFA World Cup, Super Bowl XLV as well as the BCS National Championship. Its success at these events led her to being hired by ESPN to be one of the hosts in the new afternoon program "Numbers Never lie" which premiered in August. Thompson joined in July 2012 to join the "SportsNation" network in July 2012. The show was extremely popular, which she continued to host until May 2013, in which time she returned in Los Angeles to launch FS1. Thompson is a fan of sports by nature, has proven her flexibility in navigating the entertainment industry. She was hired as a host of"Extra," a Hollywood magazine "Extra" on June of 2014 after several part-time jobs. In this capacity the magazine filmed its the episodes in Universal Studios while also staffing the awards show and other celeb occasions on a regular basis.
